Here's a little background on these recordings. A short time ago I was opening for Ray on a UK tour. A couple of shows in, Dan the head honcho had asked me for some recordings to send off to some people for future shows, but I couldn't give him any. So he had asked my old friend Dean Norman, who was doing stage sound to record my set. At the end of the tour Dean handed me a beautifully recorded CD with five shows on it. I got home and listened through, and picked out a few things I thought captured some of the better moments. I added the guitar and drums to Twenty First Century Paranoid Blues for fun and thought it sounded OK so I left them on. I had a great time playing for all the audiences on this tour and I hope to get back out there again soon. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy these tunes.
